Our debating team of Ciara Gardner, Edwina Kelly and Orla Gardner, recently took on ferrybank proposing the motion that our efforts to combat climate change are too late. This was round 1 of the Carlow / Kilkenny ETB debating competition. After a tempestuous affair the girls were narrowly defeated but can take a lot of positives from a fantastic learning experience.
