| On Friday, September 5th students exchanged their uniforms for the black and amber jersey in preparation for Sunday’s attempt by the Kilkenny Senior Hurlers to achieve the elusive three in a row All-Ireland Senior Hurling Finals.Throughout the previous week all classes had participated in a poster competition to mark the occasion. For the privilege of wearing the Black and Amber to classes students donated the sum of €2 towards the school’s sports fund.
There was great excitement on Friday as students assembled for the results of the Black and Amber Dress Competition along with the results of the Poster Competition. Valuable prizes including Kilkenny tracksuits, Kilkenny GAA wall hanging, hurleys, sliotars, black and amber hoodies etc, etc. were awarded to the following: |
